Facts about Snakes:
Snakes are reptiles and belong to the same group of animals as lizards, turtles and crocodiles. Reptiles have dry scales that shed periodically. Unlike mammals and birds, reptiles cannot generate body heat and depend on outside sources to raise their body temperature. This trait makes them wait out long periods of extensive cold and hot conditions that we experience in the Oklahoma City.
Snakes differ from other reptiles by having no legs, ears, or eyelids, and by possessing only one functional lung. The most notable characteristic of a snake is its extremely long, slender body. A snake’s body allows it to effortlessly climb, swim, and slip into the smallest spaces including your home and basement areas of your house. Although snakes lack ears and cannot technically hear, they do have the ability to detect low frequency vibrations from the air and ground. Instead of eyelids, snakes have a clear scale covering for each eye. The shedding of this scale causes the eye to cloud over for a few days, which led to the myth that snakes go blind during certain times of the year in Oklahoma.

Bat Inspection & Removal Services
Bats like mice do not need a very large opening, 1/2″ or more and they can gain access to your home or business.
A Bat access point can usually be spotted several ways:
- There is a usually a darkening around the opening
- There are urine stains below the opening
- The is often a buildup of guano on the ground below their roost
- Roost that have been around a while will have a very noticeable order.
- Many times you will hear bats moving around in an attic as they leave for the night or even hear their chirpings depending on the location.
WE DO NOT PROVIDE FREE BAT INSPECTIONS OR ESTIMATES, THEY ARE VERY TIME CONSUMING
General Outline of our Removal Services
Our Bat Removal Services start with an inspection of the outside of the home looking for signs of possible bat access points and signs of any new or old bat activity.
Then we will need to check inside the attic area for any signs of bats if possible, many Arizona homes have vaulted ceilings or flat roofs that make it almost impossible to completely check out the attic for bat roosting which is why a good inspection of the exterior is so important.
Once we have identified the bat access points the next step will be in determining if the bats are getting into the void behind that access point and how large of a colony or sever the infestation of bats is.
After we have determined the scope of the infestation we will then lay out a plan of attack on how to exclude the bats from your structure and what methods we will be using.
After the bats have been excluded the openings and access points need to be sealed to prevent future problems.
We will also need to then decide on what measures of roost cleanup need to be done for the guano, urine anddead bats that are most likely still inside the void.
Bat removal for one bat inside a home is not very expensive, but bat exclusion, cleanup and sealing services for a large colony can be very time consuming and costly depending on the location and how old the colony is.
Our Methods of Excluding Bats
Bat Exclusion is now used by all ethical bat control professionals across the country. The bat exclusion process allows the bat control technician to safely remove all bats from a house and attic without using any chemicals and without killing any bats. The bat exclusion process is an all natural method that is widely accepted as the most humane and the most effective bat removal process for dealing with both commercial and residential bat infestations.
When all openings are identified, a “one-way valve” can be applied to each opening. One-way devices are those that allow bats to leave the structure, and prevent them from reentering. Some of our One way devices can be as simple as a sheet of plastic or a plastic bag attached above the opening and allowed to hang flush against the building’s exterior. The plastic is wider than the opening and long enough to hang at least one foot below it. The sides (but not the bottom) of the plastic would be attached to the building by staples or duct tape, to prevent wind from lifting the flap. At dusk, the bats will find their way out beneath the plastic flap, but will not be able to lift the flap to reenter the structure.
No matter what type product or One Way Door device we install, they will only be a temporary item.
Only after the bats have all gone would we then remove the devices and start to seal the openings.

Bat exclusion needs to be done with great attention to detail so as to stop the bats from coming back to the home and detecting a former entryway or finding a new entrance.
Care to detail is essential for a competent bat exclusion project.
All potential entrances that may be utilized by bats as an entrance need to be closed with suitable products or materials. These materials need to be able to hold up over time. The bat exclusion products or materials need to be capable sealing all entry points and installed in a manner that will look satisfying to the client and be assured of stopping the bats from coming back.

WHAT YOU GET FOR A FREE INSPECTION: Be Careful
WHAT YOU GET FOR A FREE INSPECTION:
We recently finished a squirrel job for a lady who had gotten a free inspection from a local pest control company for which she had been a customer. She was so apalled at the “free” estimate that she decided to call us. We were able to give her basic prices over the phone, and we started the job on the first trip.
Our TOTAL price for the work was less than half of the pest control company’s bid.
We now have a VERY satisfied customer for whom we were able to provide complete, professional trapping, a full-house inspection and diagnosis (the other company’s salesman didn’t even get on the roof, and he missed an entry that was visible from the street), and guaranteed exclusion. Our exclusion (entry repair) carries a multi-year, no-strings-attached warranty – no yearly renewal fee.
Folks, when you get a free inspection, you’re probably getting a salesman, NOT an experienced professional. The salesman’s only job is to pressure you into buying, rather than to concentrate on doing a complete, educated diagnosis/inspection/consultat
