Q.Is trapping really so much more effective than poison?
A.Yes! In the studies I have done in the field, trapping shows to be about 98-100% effective.      Poisoning is only about 15-20% effective. But it could be even more effective on your beloved pets.

Q.How long does the trapping process usually take?
A.It depends on the size of the job and density of population.

Q.Do you have to dig up my yard and make a mess? 

A.Yes I have to dig. The hole is usually only about 6 inches in diameter. No there will not be a mess. When I am gone you will hardly notice I have been there at all.

Q.How does the process work?
A.I will come out one day and talk to you and set traps. The next day or other length of time agreed on I will come check and get the traps. If I feel that some gophers or moles are left, I will reset traps.

Q.When do I pay for the service?
A.I usually accept payment at the end of service, per trip, but can leave a bill if necessary.

Q.How long does the land stay clear of gophers or moles?
A.That one is tough to answer because the now vacant tunnels are easily found by other burrowing pests. If the surrounding property does not have a dense population, it could be six months or more before another issue arises. If the surrounding property is dense with pests, then it could only take a few weeks.

Q.Is there a hazard to children and pets?
A.While there is a small risk, trapping is a safer method of gopher and mole extermination than poison. Most traps are placed safely under the ground and marked with a utility flag. Pets and children can dig the traps up if not properly supervised by the customer.

Q.Is there a guarantee?
A.The guarantee is to eliminate the problem that is there now. Just like other pests, new gophers and moles will eventually come in to replace the ones that have been trapped. That goes for poisoning as well. Remember that you can always use the grace period to call me back out ASAP.
